Safe Parking & Green Schools Travel
 

As a healthy school that is committed to safer and sustainable travel, we would like to encourage the whole school community to walk or cycle for the journey to and from school wherever possible.

Walking provides you with the opportunity to teach your child about traffic awareness and give them the skills they need travelling about by foot. It is an ideal opportunity to catch up on their day and the fresh air and exercise will mean they are more ready to learn on arrival in school.

If you do need to drive, please try and park a short distance away from the school, use the park and stride (either at the 1st Carpark area near on Station Road opposite Kean’s exit or TESCO carpark ) or consider car sharing with another family. Inconsiderate parking near the school makes it harder for children to see and judge traffic and can upset or inconvenience our neighbours.
